As part of a DTS seminary class, I was actually assigned “How To Read the Bible Like a Seminary Professor” by Dr. Mark Yarbrough. I was totally expecting something very technical and full of “churchisms” that would make it a very heavy and heady read. To my surprise, I just love this book and it was the exact opposite. It provided a very clear understanding of Bible exposition and still was a deep and easy read.
